Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Get Release Date for PC

Untuk kebanyakan gamer di tahun 90-an, Harvest Moon jadi salah satu game paling membawa kesan nostalgia. Paling dikenal akan seri di PS1 dan SNES, Harvest Moon menjadi game yang damai dan relaxing yang pas untuk mereka yang sedang malas dengan game penuh kekerasan. Dibalik kesederhanaan game, Harvest Moon terkadang menjadi game yang membuat ketagihan para pemainnya meskipun 90% yang kamu lakukan adalah memberi makan hewan ternak dan berharap hujan agar tak perlu menyirami tanamanmu satu persatu.

Pada ulang tahun franchise ini yang ke-20 tahun, Natsume umumkan seri Harvest Moon baru yaitu Harvest Moon: Light of Hope. Game direncanakan rilis untuk PS4, Switch dan PC, namun versi PC akan dirilis lebih awal terlebih dahulu. Ini menjadi game Harvest Moon pertama yang hadir ke PC dan anehnya lebih diutamakan dibandingkan versi console. Apakah ada hubungannya dengan Stardew Valley yang laris manis di Steam?

For most gamers in the 90s, Harvest Moon became one of the games that brought the most nostalgic impression. Best known for the series on PS1 and SNES, Harvest Moon becomes a peaceful and relaxing game that fits perfectly for those who are lazy with violent games. Behind the simplicity of the game, Harvest Moon is sometimes a game that adds to its players even though 90% of what you do is feed the farm animals and expect rain to not water your plants one by one.

On the 20th anniversary of this franchise, Natsume announced the new Harvest Moon series Harvest Moon: Light of Hope. Game planned release for PS4, Switch and PC, but PC version will be released earlier first. It became the first Harvest Moon game to come to PC and strangely took precedence over the console version. Does it have anything to do with Stardew Valley that sells well in Steam?

Sayangnya seri kali ini tak dibuat oleh Marvelous Entertainment, tim developer dibalik game-game Harvest Moon kesayanganmu. Kreator dari Harvest Moon tinggalkan franchise ini serta kerja sama dengan Natsume untuk buat franchise sendiri – Story of Seasons. Seri terbaru ini juga mendapat first impression yang tak begitu positif dari fans karena artstyle yang mengecewakan. Akan tetapi kita tunggu saja hasil akhirnya nanti.

Dengan Natsume sepenuhnya memegang penuh Franchise ini, mereka ingin Light of Hope menjadi game yang bawa kembali kesan retro dari seri sebelumnya khususnya dari seri 16-bit yang dirilis di SNES. Mereka menyebutkan akan banyak wajah familiar dari game-game Harvest Moon sebelumnya hadir ke game ini.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope dirilis lebih awal di PC pada 14 November mendatang. Untuk versi PS4 dan Switch, game akan dirilis pada awal tahun 2018.

Unfortunately this series was not made by Marvelous Entertainment, the team of developers behind your favorite Harvest Moon games. The creators of Harvest Moon leave this franchise and work with Natsume to create their own franchise - Story of Seasons. This latest series also got a first impression not so positive from the fans because the artstyle is disappointing. But we wait for the end result later.

With Natsume fully holding onto this franchise, they want Light of Hope to be a game that brings back retro impressions from previous series especially from the 16-bit series released on SNES. They mentioned a lot of familiar faces from previous Harvest Moon games coming into this game.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope released earlier in PC on 14 November. For PS4 and Switch versions, the game will be released in early 2018.
